The Euregio Summer School focuses on the topic of “Human Rights and Technological Change.” Every year, there is a specific thematic focus. At the same time, it is seen as an initiative to promote European integration. It offers 30 students and researchers from the three Euregio universities in Bolzano, Innsbruck, and Trento an extensive and in-depth insight into the topic, as well as the opportunity for mutual exchange.
A special opportunity and enrichment is the collaboration with the Global Campus of Human Rights, a globally oriented excellence center of the EU based in Venice, which has been established for over 20 years and thus has an outstanding international network.
Students not only meet like-minded people their own age, but also have the opportunity to engage directly with recognized experts for several days. On the other hand, the Euregio Summer School is an excellent opportunity for academics to go beyond the confines of university life and specialized conferences, to learn about the perspectives and solutions of young people, and to strengthen and further develop their interdisciplinary skills. The Summer School is conducted in English. The linguistic environment is trilingual (German, English, Italian).
